HARIBO UK TV Advertising

HARIBO sweets always aim to raise a smile. From the famous slogan ‘Kids and grown-ups love it so, the happy world of HARIBO’, which has been part of the brands TV advertising since it launched in 1994, right through to the most recent award winning creative that showcases adults talking with kids’ voices!

Each advert celebrates our inner child by capturing the happy and playful side within us all, bringing to life the fun and childlike enthusiasm that people have for HARIBO.

Responsible Advertising

Through its fun and playful adverts that always raise a smile, HARIBO captures and celebrates the love that people have for HARIBO and its products.

As a popular confectionery brand HARIBO recognises the importance of always taking a responsible approach when marketing and advertising its products – in the creative way in which its adverts are produced and through the channels it uses to communicate.

Acting in line with current regulations, HARIBO adheres to all standards set out by the Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) and the Committees of Advertising Practice (CAP). Directing advertising to gatekeepers HARIBO does not advertise in any media primarily directed to children under 16 years.

HARIBO also positions its products as treats to be enjoyed in moderation and through its adverts celebrates variety, so that consumers can make the choices that are right for them and their families.

Charity Support

As a family-run business, community and charity are very close to our heart.

We are very proud to have supported Martin House Children’s Hospice, who provide care for children with life limiting illnesses, for many years. They provide care to individuals of all ages and support for their families across Yorkshire, and we are pleased to continue our support moving into 2026 and beyond.

Team HARIBO supported THE BUILD for Martin House, which aims to raise £2 Million! This goes towards completing the biggest transformation the hospice has ever seen, allowing them to continue to provide their first-in-class care for many years to come.

Our Grocery Aid support is ongoing for 2025, after achieving a Gold Award for our involvement in 2024, This was awarded for a wide range of HARIBO involvement including fundraising, raising awareness and the incredible cross-border cycling challenge from London to Amsterdam, where 10 of our colleagues from all areas of the business took part.

2025 has seen the successful launch of HARIBO's new charity partnership with The Together Project. Aiming to reduce loneliness and isolation in some of the most vulnerable groups in the country, we have worked with them to launch and run their amazing Songs & Smiles project in West Yorkshire.

Haribo Makes a Sweet Gesture for Charity

With nine stores across the country, HARIBO has chosen to take its support for worthy causes even further with charity collection tins now proudly situated at the till point in each shop.

Chosen by team members, HARIBO will champion causes which are local to each store. It is hoped that every contribution, large or small, will have a positive impact on the fantastic work that each organisation undertakes.

The nine chosen charities are:

This latest gesture builds upon the longer-term support that HARIBO continues to offer to charitable organisations throughout the UK and also in West Yorkshire, home to its UK Headquarters.
